Last modified date: 2016/11/25 views: 390
Description

Yealink has two auto provisioning syntaxes M1(2)and M7,M1 for T2 series lower than V70 version , M2 for T3 and VP530 lower than V70 version , the customer may wonder which one can be used.

M7 is the final template syntax won't be changed in the future, the entire models version is V70 and higher version can use the M7 syntax.

Cause

Yealink use a new syntax of auto provisioning template file after the version is V70 and higher version.

Resolution

If the phone version is lower than V70, make sure use the M1/M2 syntax

If the version is V70 and higher version, suggest the customer to use the M7 syntax. Although auto provisioning template file is backward compatible, there is not M1/M2 syntax for the new features added in the V70 and higher version

More information:

Mixed template file (the auto provisioning template file include two syntaxes, M1 and M7, M2 and M7.
