Updating a time zone via auto provision

Description


In order to meet the requirements of updating a Time Zone with DST for different customers, Yealink add this function to configure Time Zone via auto provision. You can also set the daylight saving time if you want.


Resolution


There is an example for you to add a new Time Zone: 

If there’s a customer who request that there lacks a Time Zone with: +8 Xiamen.

 

1. Updating a Time Zone in the AutoDST.xml. As shown below, updating “China(Xiamen)” in the AutoDST.xml file. For the detailed instruction of the parameters written in the files, please refer to the Appendix A

2. Uploading a new AutoDST.xml via auto provision. Here is item to upload AutoDST.xml in the CFG files:

3. After auto provision you can see the new Time Zone in the

Settings->Time & Date->Time Zone
