User wishes to protect personalized configuration settings (e.g. ring tones, volume and DSS keys) even after auto provisioning via the administrator.
After auto provisioning, some personal settings will be recovered or lost.
1. You can only use the auto provisioning syntax to set this feature.
2. Two related syntax:
##1 This syntax controls the feature effect or not. When it is configured as “0”, it means disabled, after provisioning, the manually configured settings will be override, and then it will result in the setting loss (Customer complained about it).When it is configured as “1”, it means enabled. The feature will work and manually configured settings will be kept (it is what the customer want). ###
auto_provision.custom.protect = 1
##2 This syntax controls the MAC-local.cfg file upload to provisioning server or not (Backup or not).When it is configured as “0” , it means disabled, MAC-local.cfg file will not be uploaded to provisioning server, the MAC-local.cfg is only kept on the phone flash. When it is configured as “1”, it means enabled, MAC-local.cfg file will be
Uploaded to provisioning server to do the backup. For example, if your provisioning server is http://10.1.1.2/test, then the MAC-local.cfg file will auto upload to http://10.1.1.2/test every 5 min. ###
