Description

In some special scenario, customer dials a number and then has to wait for few seconds to dial another number, so they asked if we have an advanced feature to support this scenario.

Resolution

In Yealink V81 firmware version, our phones support a feature called EDK (Enhanced DSS Keys), which can meet customer’s requirement for above scenario.

1.      Enable EDK feature via auto provision, parameter as below:

features.enhanced_dss_keys.enable=1  (ONLY way to enable)

2.      After that, you can find the Custom Key on DssKey web page:

3.      Configure the Value and label, rules as below:

For example, if you set value as 123$Cwc$$Cp3$456, it means when you press EDK DssKey, it will dial out 123 first, and then wait 3 seconds, after that, dial out 456.

In DTMF scenario, e.g. 123$Cwc$$Cp3$456$Tdtmf$, it means when you press EDK DssKey, it will dial out 123 first, and then wait for 3 seconds, after that, input 456 as DTMF code.
