[YDMP] How to setup site management

Description


If device from different departments need to be managed separately in your enterprise. We have site management that can help to manage devices in the same site. For this FAQ will introduce how to set site management.


Resolution


 

Add devices to a site:

1.     Add single device to a site

a.      Connect device to YDMP

b.      Select a device in SIP Device list page

c.       Click ‘Site Settings’, select site.

2.     Add multiple devices to a site.

1)     Follow step 1, we can select multiple MAC addresses and then add them to same site

2)     Set site when we import multiple devices to YDMP.

a.      Click ‘Import’ then download template.

b.      Edit the template, enter site name for devices.

c.       Upload the final template, the device will allocate to specific site automatically.

 

Configure devices from different sites:

 

1.     Create a group for devices

a.      Click ‘Add Group’

b.      Select group device from different site

c.       Set the parameters

d.      Click ’Save’ or ‘Save and update’ to setup a group.
